August 24, 2009 is the first day of school in Laramie, Isaac is in first grade! last night he was just too excited to go to sleep and then he woke up with a purple marker all over his face. So after a nice scrub and a lot of soap his face was once again clean. we had his favorite breakfast and then I put the kids in the suburban, well it will only drive if you have the keys so I frantically looked for them. I couldn't find them so we ran to the car! Dave was on the phone and it was 8:13 in the morning, school starts at 8:20. so we rushed to school and before we go there Isaac says to me, Mom can I go by myself? this broke my heart my child no longer wants me to hole his hand in public...sad day, but being the overbearing mother that I am I told him no because I have to take his picture, he was so excited to see his friends and his teacher he smiled from ear to ear! it was so cute!
I have been trying to get Ashton in to a pre-school but I guess that we are not cool enough for pre-school! oh well! Levi starts school on Tuesday next week! he is excited. I bought him new clothing for school, but he only picked out red shirts, oh well at least they will be clean!
