Where Did I go wrong

Today was like most Wednesdays, woke up although a bit later than usual and Levi was 15 min late to school and then took Ashton to the pool with Holly and the girls. picked up Levi a bit late and went to burger king. (I wish that someone would do for me this while I slept in the car seat) after that we came home for an hour and packed up and went to pick up Isaac. We played at the Starbucks house for a while and then headed home. (I know how awesome this is sounding but it gets better) We watched Cyber chase (I really like it) and then I felt like maybe I should do something different with raising my children, because Ashton said (not mumbling like usual) Are we going to Wal-Mart? where did he get that from, could it be the thousand of trips to that hell of a place. So the reason that I am feeling like I failed is not that my kid thinks that we need to go to wal-mart but it reminded me of when Isaac was Ashton's age, he didn't say much but he did say this as we were pulling up to Wal-Mart: "We Home". maybe We go there too much!!!

the End of february is near

I Dislike February, I feel like nothing gets done and there is not enough days to do anything, I had set a monthly goal and I feel cheated out of my 2-3 days!
one- I really wanted to get rid of my children's toys, all of them, okay not all but the ones that are not played with and broken.
Two- I wanted to work out everyday and now that it is the last week of the month I find myself just starting for the month, which includes three- lose 5 Lbs, I lost five in January so I was going to lose 5 in february but needless to say it didn't happen.
Four- start Pre-pre school for Ashton I have in the past done this with the other two but I found myself not able to start in this short month.
Five- have my house clean for 30 days this is a silly one, I know that this is less then possible but a good goal to have so to start this in a month that only has 28 days is a bad idea!
that is a list of five reasons that I hate this month there are so many more like I have been in school for a month and I am so far behind but that is okay ill catch up.

The good part of February is that it is a bit warmer then January but we still are able to have cold nights!!!

Valentines and sick kiddos

So it may be a shock that Dave and I are not the most romatic couple in the world . For example...when he asked me to marry him it sounded a bit like this
Dave -"Ithink that I am going to pass out"
Patty- " Do you need some water
Dave- "no thanks"
Dave-"so why don't we get married?"
Patty- "okay"
Dave -" did I just ask you to marry me?"
Patty- "I think that you did"
Dave- "do you want the ring now or later?"
Patty- " NOW!!!!!!!!!!"
So we got married. Don't get me wrong I wouldn't have wanted it to go any other way in fact I am glad it was so laid back. no stress. another example is our honeymoon, we spent the majority alone but we did go on vacation with his oldest sister and it was so much fun! not the most romantic honeymoon but it was the best!!!, so to impress people we tell them that we went to San Francisco for a 10days, and leave it at that but only if they don't ask what we did. My husband is a bit more romantic than I am for example he dose buy me jewelry with out me knowing, but in his defence he dose it because he wishes that he could wear it so really not romantic. so to get to the point, the one Valentines day that I was feeling like I needed some romance he bought me The Ewoks battle for endor. I was so mad, (I need to say that the reason that I wanted to feel romance was I had a baby a month before and not feeling great about myself) that was a rare occasion and not to be repeated. we have made it a tradition to spend Valentines day With our Kiddos. it is fun...except when they are sick. It has been a week since Isaac had strep and no sign that it spread to the rest of us until February 14. Dave and I were planning on taking the boys to the 3 dollar theater to see Bolt. Levi started to scream and pull on his ear and we took his temp and again a temperature above 103 not my idea of fun so we didn't get to go to the movie so Isaac and I went to the store and bought some dinner and then we rented a movie and we also bought a movie so It was a good night still!!


I did eat a piece of shrimp, did you know if you are allergic to shellfish you probably shouldn't eat Shrimp, I just wanted to taste it, needless to say when my tongue swelled up I was not able to taste it so it was a bad idea!!!

SICK KID

Isaac has been running a temp of 103-105 for two days so we took him in last night to the ER. he has Strep. He is really sick, but that doesn't mean he can hit and scream... I have been listing to him yell and scream and for the last 4 hours and I am ready to run away. I gave him some Motrin, and threw him in a bath hoping that he will stop. so the mood has been set. Isaac hit both of his brothers this morning and now they are fighting with each other...yea for me!!!

We are suppose to be going to Denver tomorrow, but If Isaac is still sick I think that he and I are going to stay home!!! While Dave and the other two will go. I am so tired I am not sleeping and I am totally afraid that I am going to get strep too. I just think about it and then I am as sick as a dog and on prednisone. oh well.

I really am looking forward to going to Denver. We are headed down with our friends the Starbucks, to go to Monster Jam!!! It is going to be a blast. I hope that we are going to be able to make it to the show!

Weekend update

Saturday was my boys first official Sleepover. My friends Daughter was having someone over to spend the night so we invited her son to come to our house for the night. He is 4 and the boys had so much fun they stayed up till 9:30...that is so late for my boys. and then they crash on the floor in the living room. At 7 in the morning we heard laughing and squealing. it made me laugh. it was time to get ready for Church. I was going to take my friends son home but we were running too late, so instead we found a shirt for him and went to church...BIG MISTAKE it was crazy Levi was Running around and drawing on things that he shouldn't and his friend was doing the same. when we went to Primary (I have been the substitute for the sunbeams since the beginning of the year) I really think that 2 sunbeams is more then enough. especially if one is my 4 year old!!! but I had three, Music time and Sharing time was ummmm well...okay not that much fun ( so I don't Cuss) I spent the time telling three 3and 4 year olds to sit down and not to touch each other...fun fun fun. What I learned is not to have a sleepover ever again

Super bowl was really disappointing. I have had a bitter hatred towards the Steelers since I was in high school. I was really hoping that the Cardinals would have won...oh well at least I got to make and eat muddie buddies!!! I missed our Superbowl friends.
