Levi
At 4:15 this morning I heard Levi sobbing. I asked him What was wrong thinking that it might be a stomach bug since his brothers were home sick yesterday. Nope that was not the case. He said (now full on Balling) "I don't want to go to 2nd grade!" I got up and tried my best to calm him down. When he was finally at the point where he would go back, you could hear the sniffles from the room. The sad truth is this in not the first time this has happened. A couple of weeks ago we had the Missionaries over for dinner. I gave them a rather ugly picture that was painted of Black Velvet and framed with a horrible wood frame. Levi Cried when he saw it was gone and begged us to go to the missionaries house and get it back! On the Sunday a week later he saw the missionaries and started to cry again. I have come to the conclusion that Levi is not good with change. But he is so much fun.
His energy keeps us busy. He is a natural athlete. He is a loving kid. He is the hardest kid to get a picture of but if he doesn't notice that you are taking a picture he gives the best pictures. He make me laugh every day. We are so Blessed to have him in our lives

Parents of the year...I think not!
When Levi was 2 he would steal my glasses and tell us he couldn't see without them. We being GREAT parents decided that we should buy him a pair of reading glasses. He loved them! Levi had his eye exam today and low and behold he has to wear glasses and he was having a hard time seeing. Moral of the story when my child tells me that he is not able to see he probably is not able to see!
Zoo Friends and Friends
Last Sunday was the anniversary of my Dad's passing. It was a hard week and I really wanted to do something that would keep me in a good place. So on Saturday we packed up the kids an went to Colorado. Starting with the Zoo. We really enjoyed ourselves, the weather was just right, and the kids loved the experience.
We drove to Pine to see our good friends the Starbucks. the kids had a great time catching up with their kids and we had a great time just chillin'.
Sunday we went to see my friend who I haven't seen in years. She was visiting a friend in Denver and we decided to meet in Blackhawk. the town was really interesting....it is a gambling centered placed in the middle of a canyon. I was amazed at the amount of people there at 5pm on a Sunday I was so excited to see my friend that I was not too concerned about the crazy obsessed with gambling screaming curse words if you wouldn't stop so a person could pull into a parking place atmosphere.
Overall it was a good weekend. it was still hard and I miss my dad more then ever.
