A note to Levi (this is a history of my middle child it is happy, sad, scary and some times hard to believe!)

Levi,

I will never be able to express the amount of love and amazement that I have for the Blonde haired brown eyed child.  You have always been such and adventure.  At 2 weeks old you rolled over, and not just once you started to roll all the time from front to back and back to front, and 4 weeks you were sitting up on your own, always watching Isaac and the other kids that were in the house.  At 9 months you decided that it was time to walk and at 9 months and one day you decided to run, ever since then you have been on the move.

When you were a year old you loved babies and you tried to hold every baby in sight.  You would sit on one of the babies that I babysat just so you could be close to him. When Ashton was born you would climb into his cradle and sit on his head just so you could be near him,  the first time you saw Ashton you said "I Sorry" I think that was meant for the future.

You turned 2 and you were such a Joy you always wanted to be outside in the truck!  as long as there was a steering wheel you were happy.  Right after you turned 2 we were playing outside, I had brought you and your brother in and the other kids, I turned my back for 5 minutes and you were gone,  I noticed that the door was open and then I noticed that the gate was opened, you were gone, my heart stopped, I went into panic mode I ran to the truck to see if you  were there, you were not I heard a scream and breaks screeching  I ran the fastest I have ever ran, there was a car stopped in the middle of the road and inside of the car there you were behind the middle seat I looked at the driver it was an old classmate and friend with you he was white as a ghost and and looked like he was going to throw up.  he mother was in the passenger seat looking worried, he approached me and said that some man had you in a duffle bag, he said he just knew it was not right.  I didn't let you out of the house for many months after that.

A while later you were playing at the Bretones' house and you broke your leg you refused to sit and  you started to walk on the cast, I got you a Wheelchair and you would not stay in it.  you had a total of 3 casts.

In December of that year we went to Hawaii, we were at the Polynesian culture center and your dad had to go pick up the surf boards he rented  he left you wanted to follow him, you were not able to keep up with him so you got lost, luckily you only got to the entrance of the restaurant.    We went to the beach every day, we couldn't keep you out of the ocean, you loves to run on the sandy beach.  We went on a submarine ride and you loved seeing the fish, sharks and turtles.  It was so much fun to be with your cousins and family.   you only wandered one other time.

You had an uneventful rd and 4th, year you did start pre school and you thrived in the structured setting. you learned so much you first year of pre school. You had your first surgery when you were 4 an adnoidectomy you were hilarious when the sedation started to kick in, after the surgery you were a little crabby but you wanted walk out by your self after we went to see grandma and get some ice cream.    shortly after that was when you grandpa Volin passed away, you were very close to him and missed and still miss him.

When you were 5 you started Kindergarten.  You had Mr. Bundy!  you came home from school everyday laughing at something he said.

You have made Leaps and bounds each school year and you have learned so much.  In first grade you had Mrs. Van, and she loved having you in her class.  She would tell me that you would get away with more than you should have

You started 2nd grade and you were excited.  you mad a few good friends and had fun with your brothers.

This year you have grown so much this year you have made many accomplishments and I love more than you will ever know!  You are a smart and caring kid. Thank you for being the greatest Middle child a mother could ever ask for.

I love you

MOM
