Black eyes

We went to the Moose to see Santa Today. The Kids had so much fun! Ashton was having fun running around when he ran smack into the corner of the table. He instantly swelled up and his eyes turned black! (The picture is later and his eyes are looking better! he was eating the salt water taffy that we made tonight, that is the pink on his chin)
I found a picture of levi and I had to post it!

Christmas Tree

We finally hung our tree, yes I said hung! It is a Turner family tradition to hang the tree from the ceiling, this reduces the risk of children/dogs knocking over the tree. If you can see where all the decorations are that is because Ashton was the master decorator this year!
Isaac was the supervisor, he told everyone where the ornaments went.
And Levi, well Levi is just excited! (notice his shirt is inside out and backwards!)
So Far we are having a great holiday season!

sugar, naps and nail polish

(Levi while the house is full of sugar)
I was at work today and when I came home my house was covered in sugar (thank you LEVI). So I had to clean it up, while i was busy cleaning Levi and Ashton fell asleep in the chair. this is amazing because they can hardly be in the same room together let alone on the chair.
(the boys asleep on the couch together)
I had to clean up 20 lbs of sugar on the floor and the computer desk so I let them sleep. when Nat showed up I got the boys up and that is when the fun started. I know that I talk a lot about Levi but he really is a good story! today he found my Black Nail polish and painted his toes
(Levi's pretty toes )
...fun fun fun. the moral of this story NEVER LEAVE Levi in a house even supervised he will find a way to trash the house or cause ruckus!

Thank You Thank You

I live for the holidays. so It is only normal that thanksgiving is right up there for me as one of my fav's! I have reflected on Thanksgivings past and one Tully reminds me what I have to be thankful for. It was a one day before thanksgiving 2003 and I decide to go and get some Christmas shopping out of the way, my dear friend Sara went with me. Dave took Isaac to his parents to make donuts and we decided to meet up after I hit Wal mart. It was about noon when Sara and I had finished so we went to my in laws house to see how the donuts were going. Isaac was wearing one of my favorite outfits he was so stinking cute for a 1 year old! I saw him playing around with some things and then I saw a flash of red falling from the top of the stairwell (it was the open end with an 8 foot drop) which led to a concrete floor and un-carpeted stairs . My heart stopped and I saw him laying there everyone ran in front of me and I stood there unable to move. finally I hear him cry at the point I was able to get down the stairs David brought him upstairs and we went to to ER. I have never cried so much in my whole life. after 6 hours in the ER he had a cat scan and every thing looked good so we were sent home. that Thanksgiving I knew that I was truly blessed and I was so grateful for the safety that was provided for my sweet child. I am so grateful. I have been blessed with three wonderful (high energy children) and a great husband who loves me.

levi

I was telling some of my best Levi tales and some one told me that I should write a book. well I don't have time to write a book so for now I am going to blog! Levi is always a super hero! he ties pillow cases around his neck and instantly becomes batman superman and recently he morphed into ...

underwear Boy. I hope that my child is not the only one to play with his underwear but it was funny. Well we had a ward spaghetti dinner and Levi brought a bag with him, I was talking to someone that I have not seen in a while and I see out of my eye Levi pulling a pair of underwear over his head. Acting quickly I pulled them off of his head and threw them in my pocket. knowing that I was not the only one to see this act of LEVI, I bust up laughing as I looked around ans saw the faces staring at us!

8 and counting

On this coming Monday Dave and I will be celebrating our 8th anniversary! it is crazy that it has been eight years but here are a list of eight things that we have learned or done these past eight years

1. life is usually good and when it isn't just laugh about it, I am sure all who know us know that we think that we are the funniest people we know weather or not we make our self laugh. when we were first married I started this stupid joke and I thought that it died, but It found it's way back into our lives...What did the wife volcano say to the husband volcano...I LAVA you! really not that funny but when you are in a serious moment (few and far between in this house) it is fun to break the mood with that stupid joke

2. Dave will always leave his socks on the floor in the living room, no matter how many times I tell him not to he does.

3. I will eat the last chocolate in the house! same as the sock thing it is just how it is

4. when raising kids...find a happy medium between strict and too relaxed...we are still trying to find it but at least we are trying!

5. don't bring home a cat. Dave is not a cat person and well I thought that I was one... come to find out I really hated the cat I brought home he was mean to my dog! so since Paige is kind of our child we got rid of the cat...it worked out in the long run too because Isaac is allergic to cats. don't worry about the cat he found a great home, at my mom's house. like my dog he is treated as a child and well loved!

6. I am a Girl, no matter how much I deny it! this means on valentines you better not get me something along the lines of Ewoks battle of Endor. or on my birthday I expect to get a nice gift not a poster of Michael Jackson! or at Christmas time please don't wrap up things you find in our shed that are dirty and gross.

7. I am a spoiled person. really I think that I am spoiled, not just my parents but my husband also spoils me. he may think that he isn't bu he dose. he has only told me no once because I asked for a 1400 dollar purse! he buys me jewelry just because he want to (he would buy himself jewelry if is was OK) and he gets my taste in music and movies and is totally OK with me buying the Gene Kelly and Frank Sinatra and all the Audrey Hepburn Movies!

8. We strive to have a Christ based home and we continue to grow together both spiritually and emotionally and for that we are gratefully blessed!
