Almost Summer

The weather is perfect! we are doing more things outside like ridding bikes and walking. And last Monday we decided to go Climbing! I was the not able to climb so I took care of the shoes and the pictures...It has been seven years since I have been up a rock and I hope that by the end of the summer I will be back where I was before! This was the first time that we took our boys (not Ashton) and they did great! although we won't bring both of them ever again. Isaac was first he was a super star! we told him that he needed to tell us how he felt the whole time. he was a little bit scared but he was ready and he did awesome! Levi was up the rock and he didn't even blink an eye when it was time to repel I was impresses and also freaked out of my mind!!! Let me tell how the story began...Dave was home sick from work (he was really really sick) and his brother called and said wanna go climbing. We decided that we should so we called my brother to get my dads climbing gear and he said that he was going to use it so instead of fighting over it we decided to buy our own! after 300 dollars well spent we had to find where mike was and pick him and his girl up. we got to Vedauwoo at 4:30 and the gates were closed so we (not thinking) decided to climb Nautilus we went up Baldwin's it is an easy climb with a HUGE repel (You know the formation that looks like a potato chip) I became the gear holder and I worked my way down and around to take pictures of everyone repelling. First mistake was we took two children. Second Mistake was we started to late. Third mistake we took LEVI! he was great and he only ran off once...but once is way too much at this sport. overall it was a fairly good experience but not soon to be repeated! I cannot wait until I am able to climb (with out my kids)
Mike was not wearing proper shoes this is what they repelled off

Looking for a Job

It has been a good year so far and I have decided to go back to work! It has been 7 years! so any ideas, my skill set includes nothing, changing diapers and wiping boogers. I also can drive, everywhere! I enjoy making dinner. My dislikes are house work ie laundry and dishes. I do not want to babysit anymore I feel that I should gain more work experiences! Let me know what you think remember that I have decided to not Babysit!

Black paint and birdhouses

I was at the store with my mom and when I came home I saw my three boys...They painted a birdhouse and they did a good job, but they stopped painting the birdhouse and they started to paint each other. so bath time after a nice scrub Levi looks like he did when he woke up. and the water in the tub is black! yuck
you can't see how dirty the water is! but the tub itself is dirty too! yet again another day with the Turner family!

What is this!!!!

Nat and I took the boys to Stink lake. I took my camera to teach the boys the basics. Isaac took a picture of this weird thing swimming in the water. So we followed it and finally got a good pic but what is it???...as far as we know is it is a Muskrat, but we don't really know.

strep strikes again!!!

Do you ever feel like life is stacked up against you??? Well that is the week that we at the turner house have been having, (starting Friday last week) Dave came home from work on Friday just a mess he was complaining about a sore throat and a fever. I thought to my self “humm self I think that he has strep and sure enough he dose, which means that at least one other person in our house will too come down with strep”. Sure enough someone did and guess who it was…you got it ME I have this amazing ability to get strep even if I think that someone has it! Life has been short of bliss by a few million miles this last 5 days, not only did I get strep I also got some kind of gastric problems! throwing up and sore throats are not a good time!!! So I have been going on 3 days my fever is down to 100 and I am able to dull the pain with Ibuprofen. I feel so bad for the boys they are kind of getting the short end of the stick with mom and dad sick it is hard to keep them on the schedule that they need, and we are not able to play with them as much as usual. they have been spending a lot of time in the yard playing with each other.

The good news is that Ashton is finally potty trained!!!! no more changing diapers!

Isaac is helping around the house more and he got to help David change the oil in the suburban he had a lot of fun!!

Levi just built his first tree house (I was unaware that was what it was until he told me, he threw some barn wood in our tree) he has such a great imagination!

I DID IT!!! I Know why I am dropping my Class now

Would you think that a face this innocent and cute could do anything to make me want to pull my hair out? me neither and I am not sure that any of my kids can really do that. I decided to drop one of my classes again this semester, maybe my husband was right I shouldn't take 12 credits while raising three boys, and now I know why... there are many reason, the obvious ones are that I have missed too many classes because they have been sick, or are too cute to go. others include I feel like I need to be home more with them. but today my decision was solidified when I was going to get my home work started... Ash and Levi were being well behaved at least they were getting along so i thought nothing about it, I went to the kitchen to answer the phone and I saw this

I fed the kids cereal which is a rare occasion at our house and forgot to put it away and needless to say I have to go to Wal- Mart yet again for Milk and Cereal! Ashton told me...

I DID IT!!!! he is so freakin Cute!

Boys and their bikes

We have been taking the boys out on a bike ride this week and it has been an adventure, let me give a back story first, Isaac refuses to do anything active! for example we signed him up for swim lessons but he cried the whole time and refused to get in the water less then waste deep little kickers and he didn't play he just rolled around on the floor. then we singed him up for Gymnastics and he really didn't do anything. we bought him a bike for his birthday last year and he wouldn't ride it with or with out training wheels. (I have to tell you that he hates to do thing if he cannot get it right the first time) I have been trying for a year to get him to swim with out a life jacket since he was born!!! So back to the beginning of this story We took the boys to ride bikes today and it was normal Isaac and Levi had training wheels and Ashton was on his trike, and we have been working Isaac of his training wheels. Dave Took him up ahead of the rest of us and put up the training wheels and started to run with the bike. He wasn't holding on to Isaac! Isaac was doing it! Then Dave made the Mistake of Saying "I am not even holding on" The look on Isaac's face was horror and then the crash and burn. needless to say that Isaac wouldn't get back on the bike until his training wheels were back down.

Levi is doing great and he like so ride his bike unless I touch it then he tells me "You Broke My Bike MOM!"

Ash is a little daredevil he goes fast and keeps up with the others just fine in fact I think that he is going to ride circles around his brothers soon!
